THE EXPERIENCE
What can I expect from the experience?
In teams of four to 60 people, you will take on exciting challenges in the dark and colourful workshops as part of the surprising experiences in our Sensory Labs.
For two hours, you will be put to the test through a playful and memorable journey that will allow you to experience the unsuspected power of your senses.
For each successfully completed challenge, you will collect SENSAS Charms that will convert into a donation SENSAS makes to its local partner charity supporting people with disabilities.
And to make sure you get the most out of your SENSAS experience, our Master of Senses will be guiding you at all times from a distance in order for you to immerse fully into the experience.
At the end of your journey, you will be offered the chance to take some incredible photos in our “anti-gravity” room to make sure you have a memento of your amazing time with us, and to show off to your friends!
Where is the experience located?
The experience is located at 6 Garden Street, South Yarra VIC 3141. Closest train station: South Yarra (10 min walk). Tram: line 58 (50-Toorak Rd/Chapel St) or line 78 (Arthur St/Chapel St).
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
This experience is held indoors in an air-conditioned venue.
How long does the experience last?
You will spend a total of 2 hours in our premises, as follows: A 15-minute briefing before the experience starts at the scheduled time; A multi-sensory experience lasting 1hr 30 minutes; Then you will enjoy 15 minutes doing a crazy photo shoot in our "anti-gravity" room to make sure you have an incredible memento of your amazing time with us.
Are there any living creatures during the game?
We cannot answer this question, you will have to come and live the experience to find out! Please let our staff know if you have any allergies before the start of the experience.
Is there parking available?
There is no parking specifically for this experience, apart from street parking. We recommend using public transportation (Chapel Street being just around the corner).
Is there a dress code?
Please note that the activity is experienced wearing socks. We do recommend that you wear a light, comfortable and casual outfit.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
Unfortunately, there won't be food or beverage for purchase at this experience.
Will there be merchandise for sale?
No, there will not be merchandise for sale at the experience.
TICKETS
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
We highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets in the Fever App or on the Fever website.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Google Play and the Apple App Store. Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do?
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?
Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience. In such a case, please contact us indicating your ticket ID. Refunds are not allowed, except as required under Australian Consumer Law. For more information, you can consult our T&C.
Can I make a group booking or private hire?
If you would like to book for a large group or organise a private hire, please click here.
What is the maximum number of participants?
You can purchase tickets for 4 to 15 participants in the same time slot. Please take into account that bigger groups of more than 15 participants will be split into different groups, as each room can only accommodate up to 15 people.
In case you are planning to attend with a bigger group or if you want to explore the possibility of making the venue private for you, we suggest you to get in touch with groups@feverup.com with your preferred attendance and size of your group.
We are less than 4, can we participate? What if we pay for 4 people?
While we would have loved to say yes, we cannot. We do really require a minimum of four participants to be able to run the experience.
But surely some of your friends would love the idea of coming to SENSAS! So let them know about it. 😉
ACCESS
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
Please arrive at the time stated on your ticket; late entry is not permitted.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in this event’s location, though we do welcome service animals.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the event is accessible to everyone — please let our staff know in case you have special mobility needs before the start of the experience. Some activities may be unsuitable for those with extreme reduction in mobility.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
We do not allow external food and beverage to be consumed on the premises. Please be also aware that your mobile phones will be safely stored into lockers during the duration of the experience. Smoking and vaping are prohibited. Other prohibited items are: drugs and drug paraphernalia, flammables, promotional items/unauthorised solicitations/vendors (including flyers, samples, giveaways).
Do you offer carer tickets?
Guests requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker. For this experience, simply show proof of needing a carer ticket at the entrance and the carer will be allowed in for free.
Is the experience accessible for deaf/visually impaired people?
We are happy to confirm that people with visual or hearing impairments will be able to enjoy this experience.
Can I do this if I am claustrophobic or afraid of the dark?
A large part of the experience does take place in complete darkness. However, some rooms are lit up in which you can stay if you ever get afraid of the dark.
None of the doors or rooms are locked, so you can go out at any time of the experience if you are not feeling well or for any other reasons.
One of the goals when doing this experience is to overcome your fears. And if you do so, we can guarantee you will get greater satisfaction at the end of this journey!
Rest assured, many people suffering claustrophobia have come to SENSAS and enjoyed the experience to the fullest. We are very confident SENSAS will put a big smile on your face too!
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
This is a walkthrough experience, but if you need a little rest, you will be able to find some seats for you to have a break.
Will restrooms be available on site?
This venue has restrooms — please ask our staff on site for indications.
Are there any contraindications for the experience?
To participate in the SENSAS experience you must:
- Not be undergoing medical treatment. 💊
- Not be suffering from heart problems. ❤️
- Not be in a drunken state. 🍺
For any special diet, allergy or intolerance, please let our staff know before the start of the experience. Whenever it is needed, we will adapt the experience accordingly.
I have specific dietary requirements: can I still participate?
Of course! We can adapt the experience according to your allergies, food intolerances, special diets, religious denominations or pregnancy. All allergies or intolerances and other dietary requirements MUST be indicated to our team prior the start of the experience to ensure you have the most enjoyable experience.
Is there a Lost & Found?
We would recommend asking the staff at the venue if they have found your belongings. If you cannot ask them on site, please contact us.
Is there a coat check available?
Cloakroom and lockers are available for free. It is best to avoid bringing bags and any other valuables since you cannot keep them during the experience.
Is there an age requirement?
This experience only allows guests above 7 years old.
